Coachlight Bible Study – Revelation Chapter 5
The Things Which Shall Be Hereafter – Part II - The Title Deed
The inheritance of the earth and eternal life has been lost by
mankind and passed on to Satan. But the
title deed of the earth is now in the hands of the One on the throne. It is a title with seven seals and only a
kinsman redeemer can redeem the lost possession.
God has provided himself that kinsman Redeemer, but He must first
be a human. That was accomplished of
course by the virgin birth. The purchase
price has been paid on the cross, but The Resurrected Redeemer Has Not Yet Made
His Claim for the land. The first
Resurrection has happened, and His Righteous people see the events from heaven,
just as John sees it from heaven
The stage is now set in chapter 5 for that that kinsman Redeemer
to open the seven seals and take possession of the lost land
Revelation 5:1 ¶ And I saw in the
right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the
backside, sealed with seven seals.
Revelation 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a
loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to
loose the seals thereof?
Revelation 5:3 And no man in heaven,
nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to
look thereon.
Revelation 5:4 And I wept much,
because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look
thereon.
Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders
saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the
tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to
open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Revelation 5:6 ¶ And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the
throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as
it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven
Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Revelation 5:7 And he came and took
the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four
beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one
of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which
are the prayers of saints.
Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art
worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of
every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Revelation
Revelation 5:11 And I beheld, and I
heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the
elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and
thousands of thousands;
Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb
that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on
the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in
them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory,
and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

I. What
Is The Book Sealed With Seven Seals?
A. Paul Told The Ephesians There
Was A Possession To Be Redeemed
Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the
glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches
of his grace;
Ephesians 1:8 Wherein he hath
abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his
will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things
in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have
obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him
who worketh all things after the counsel of his own
will:
Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory,
who first trusted in Christ.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also
trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of
promise,
Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
B. Paul Told The Romans What This
Purchased Possession Is

Of Lost Possession By A Kinsman
Leviticus 25:23 ¶ The
land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and
sojourners with me.
Leviticus 25:24 And in all the land
of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
Leviticus 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold
away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then
shall he redeem that which his brother sold.
Leviticus 25:26 And if the man have
none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;
Leviticus 25:27 Then let him count the years of the sale
thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to
whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.
Leviticus 25:28 But if he be not
able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of
him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and
in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return
unto his possession.
Leviticus 25:29 And if a man sell a
dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year
after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.
Leviticus 25:30 And if it be not
redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled
city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his
generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.
Leviticus 25:31 But the houses of
the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields
of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.
Leviticus 25:32 Notwithstanding the
cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may
the Levites redeem at any time.
Leviticus 25:33 And if a man
purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his
possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for
the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children
of
Leviticus 25:34 But the field of the
suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.
Leviticus 25:35 And if thy brother
be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt
relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live
with thee.

What Is A Kinsman Redeemer?
A. Old Testament – A Kinsman Could Redeem Lost Property
1. The Kinsman That Bought The Property Called ‘Goel’ or Redeemer
2. He Proclaimed The Transaction At The Gate Of The City
3. There Were 10 Men –
(Elders) – To Witness
Ruth 4:1¶Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down
there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake
came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn
aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.
Ruth 4:2 And he took ten men of the
elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.
Ruth 4:3 And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come
again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of
land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:
Ruth 4:4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it
before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem
it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know:
for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.
Ruth 4:5 Then said
Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of
Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess,
the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead
upon his inheritance.
Ruth 4:6 And the kinsman said, I
cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my
right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.
Ruth 4:7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel
concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man
plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his
neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.
Ruth 4:8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for
thee. So he drew off his shoe.
Ruth 4:9 ¶ And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the
people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all
that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.
Ruth 4:10 Moreover
Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon,
have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his
inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren,
and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.
Ruth 4:11 And all the people that
were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the
woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and
like Leah, which two did build the house of
Ruth 4:12 And let thy house be like
the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of
the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the
covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause

abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that
determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
