Coachlight Bible Study – Revelation Chapter 20

The Things Which Shall Be Hereafter – Part XVII

Thy Kingdom Come

We have seen the judgments of the Tribulation period.  It was designed by God to bring Israel back to Himself.  When Christ returns to set up His kingdom, He will gather scattered Israel and judge his people.  The righteous will enter into the kingdom.

The Kingdom is taught all through the Bible from the Garden of Eden to the Book of Revelation.  In this study we will see the details concerning the government and conditions of this kingdom.  Christ is the Promised King, but has been rejected by His people, even though before He was born it was told to Mary:

Luke 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Luke 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Christ’s Kingdom will come, and His people will rule and reign with Him on earth as was spelled out in Scripture all through the ages.
